Postpartum Renewal: 4-Week Healing Journey with Dorothee, February 2025

Designed for mothers navigating the profound physical and emotional landscape of early motherhood, this specialised 4-session workshop offers a compassionate, comprehensive approach to postpartum recovery. Recognising the intricate changes a woman's body experiences during and after pregnancy—stretched abdominal muscles, strained pelvic floor, and hormonal shifts—our program provides a gentle, intentional path to healing.

Beginning 6-8 weeks after childbirth, this course focuses on rebuilding core strength, realigning posture, and addressing common postpartum challenges like shoulder tension and back pain. Through carefully curated yoga sequences, we'll support pelvic floor restoration, back muscle strengthening, and overall physical rehabilitation.

More than just a physical practice, this workshop creates a nurturing space for emotional reconnection and community support. Whether you're an experienced yogi or new to movement, our gentle approach welcomes all mothers seeking a mindful return to their bodies.

Session 1: Foundation and Healing

About Dorothee

Dorothee’s journey into the world of yoga began as she entered the transformative stage of postpartum life in 2011. The physical and emotional demands of motherhood led her to explore new avenues to regain her strength and well-being. As a former biologist and now mother of 4 children, she found solace in the yoga studio and began to experience a new found sense of strength, both in her body and her spririt.

Recognising the transformative power of yoga in her life, Dorothee decided to deepen her practice and understanding of yoga with focus on the female body. In 2022, she enrolled in a 90h Embodied Woman Prenatal and Postpartum Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) program, expanding her knowledge and expertise in guiding women through the transformative stages of pregnancy and postpartum.

In 2023, Dorothee took her commitment to yoga to the next level by completing a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. This training gave her the tools and knowledge needed to share the benefits of yoga with others. With her new found qualifications, Dorothee began teaching yoga classes and helping others along their own journeys.
